Course Description
This course will provide an extensive literature review of the physiology and pathophysiology of cardiovascular and neurovascular syndromes. A detailed review will be presented of evidence-based lifestyle, dietary, and nutritional applications that may impact normal vascular health. Evaluation of cardiovascular function with diagnostic imaging studies, vascular dynamic studies, laboratory tests, and physical examination will be conducted. The course will emphasize how to develop personalized dietary and lifestyle approaches to support vascular health.
