Impaired memory, loss of focus and attention, depression, and cognitive disorders are the most frequent complaints to health care providers.

This course will highlight the connection between the neurological examination and neurochemical loops involved in these conditions. Cognitive and depressive disorders require working with both methods of brain activation and neurochemical and nutritional management.

This course blends a review of the latest scientific articles with clinical strategies to identify and manage patients with cognitive disorders in a spectrum starting with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) in children and going to end-stage neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Lewy body dementia.
