Fatigue and pain are the most common reasons patients seek health care visits. These conditions can be caused by numerous pathological and physiological mechanisms. In this course, you will be provided with a detailed clinical model to quickly identify the underlying mechanisms that cause fatigue and chronic pain syndromes. You will learn evidence-based clinical strategies using diet, nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle strategies to impact these conditions.

This course will provide an extensive literature review of the neurology and physiology of chronic pain and fatigue syndromes.  The common links between chronic pain, depression, and fatigue will be presented.  A detailed review of lifestyle, dietary, and nutritional applications that may impact pain and fatigue syndromes will be presented. Clinical evaluation and the development of clinical applications using dietary, nutraceutical, and lifestyle approaches for chronic pain and fatigue syndromes will be presented.
